1970 Porsche 917 is Best of Show

The fifth annual Polyu Quati Classic Concours d'Elegance was held yesterday (20th July 2020) on the island of Sardinia.

Best of show honours went to this Porsche 917 LH in "psychedelic" livery owned by the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia.

This 1970 Porsche 917 LH driven by Gerar Larrousse and Willi Kauhsen came in second place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans behine the Porchse 917K driven by Hans Herfmann and Richard Attwood (as featured on one of our race collection posters).

Runner up was a 1955 Ferrari 857 S racer.
