Virtual race to replace 24 Hours of Le Mans in June

Like many events, the 24 hours of Le Mans 24 in June has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Although it has been rescheduled for the weekend of September 19th-20th, a new virtual event has been scheduled for the usual June weekend.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual will field up to 50 cars and each team must have at least two professional drivers, with an FIA international license, and a maximum of two sim racers. This will keep it more realistic and prevent it from becoming teams of pure gamers.

To keep it like the real thing, each driver must drive for a minimum of four hours and maximum of seven hours before changing over.

This virtual race will be streamed on TV, so set a note in your diary for Saturday June 13th at 2pm (3pm France local time.)
