New 9 Classic BMW Cars in 1 poster

In this latest blog, we have the second poster in as many days.

How about 9 of our popular BMW illustrations all featured on one poster.

This is available in one size only, the large 50cm x 70cm.

The 9 cars featured on this 1 poster are:

1974 BMW 2002 Turbo
Launched at the 1973 Frankfurt Motor Show, the BMW 2002 Turbo was the marque’s first turbo-charged production car. Only 1672 models were produced between September 1973 and November 1974, all staying in Europe, with 68 to the UK, and only 614 were in Polaris Silver. With riveted fender flares, massive front spoiler and motorsport graphics, the rear wheel drive, turbo-charged fuel-injected 2.0l engine produces 170bhp.

1989 BMW Z1 Roadster
BMW Z1 is a two-seat roadster produced from March 1989 to June 1991. It was based on the E30 3 Series platform. The Z1 featured unusual doors which, instead of opening outward or upward, dropped down into the door sills and had body panels which could easily be removed and replaced; the car could be driven with its body panels removed. Only 8,000 examples of the Z1 were produced and all were left hand drive, though that didn’t stop unofficial sales to UK.

1990 BMW 325i Sport
The BMW E30 325i was a massively important car for BMW and it remains an enduring success to this day. The E30 generation cemented BMW as the market leader in the medium saloon sized sector and although it looked a little different to its predecessor it was more convincingly engineered and better to drive. The manual 325i Sport was the best of the range with its’ wailing engine, controllable rear biased handling, and all round quality, this was the saloon to beat!

1990 BMW M3 Sport Evolution
Hailed as one of the most balanced and flattering saloon chassis ever created, with a perfect mix of handling and horse power to amaze even the most experienced of race drivers. Powered by the S14 motor, but this time in 2.5 litre form, to increase power to 238bhp at 7000rpm. Only 600 units were produced between December 1989 and March 1990, and this model was available exclusively in Brilliant Red or Jet Black.

1998 BMW Z3 M Roadster
BMW M-badged cars have special drivetrain, suspension, interior trim and exterior modifications and have been tested and tuned at BMW’s private facility at the Nurburgring racing circuit in Germany.

1999 BMW Z3 M Coupe
Following the success of the BMW Z3 M Roadster came the BMW Z3 M Coupé in 1997. Based on the major parts of the roadster, it had a fixed roof to give the chassis the handling required and with the engine at the front, rear wheel drive and a 50/50 weight distribution, the coupe had superb overall agility. The distinct shape gave it the nickname of clown shoe and the low number of vehicles produced makes the Z3 M Coupé a rare sight on the road.

1999 BMW Z3 2.0 Roadster
BMW chose the Z3 to be their first modern mass-market roadster and the first new model to be produced in the United States. It was introduced in 1996, when Pierce Brosnan drove it as James Bond in GoldenEye, and then the last one rolled off the production line in 2002.

2000 BMW Z3 2.8 Roadster
The Z3 has quickly become a modern classic, so is a good investment for the future!

2008 BMW Z4 3.0Si Roadster
Originally known as the E85 in roadster form and E86 in coupe form, it was designed by Danish BMW-designer Anders Warming. The Z4’s design addressed many criticisms of the preceding Z3 and was larger and featured a significantly stiffer chassis. The Z4 was initially only available as a roadster, but a coupé version was officially launched in 2006. The last model rolled off the assembly line on 27 August 2008 at the Spartanburg plant.
